We are selling our custom built off-road trailer that was constructed with much detail and care in 2021. I have attached a build sheet that details the parts used in this build.

Asking $7,900
Located in Dacula, GA

Here are the highlights:
  • 4'X8' Trailer box: 2x3 studs and 3/4" plywood construction with factory painted aluminum skin, matched to Jeep's Bright White color.
  • Originally a utility trailer frame that has been stripped and reinforced.
  • New Dexter axle with 5 on 5 bolt pattern and easy lube hubs.
  • 33" BFG All Terrain KO2 Tires w/ matching spare. Gladiator black steel wheels.
  • Articulating trailer hitch, Max Coupler (vehicle end included)
  • (1) Side teardrop style door with screen door function. Locking with keys included.
  • (1) Rear cargo door, cam lock style. Locks with a pad lock.
  • (2) Sliding windows with screens
  • Steel roof rack with 4 cross bars.
  • Aluminum front cargo basket over spare tire.
  • Yakima Skyrise Rooftop Tent Included. The trailer fits inside of a standard 7' high garage with the tent still mounted.
  • Shower Enclosure included. Adjustable Height (Folded out for a picture, never even used)
  • Wrangler rear swing gate can still be opened when the trailer is attached.
Trailer Dimensions:
Overall Length: 173"
Overall Height: 80" (w/ RTT installed, stored)
Track Width: 74" (outside of tire to outside tire)
Interior Box Dimensions: 92"L X 41"W X 34"H
Ground Clearance @ Axle: 14"
Ground Clearance @ Trailer Frame: 22"

We absolutely hate to sell it, but money is tight and it is too small for our family of 5. It pulls great and has plenty of room for all of your gear.

Nice looking trailer! Do you know the weight capacity of the hitch receiver? Might it be enough for a dirt bike with a hitch carrier? Thanks!

The most weight that I have had on the rear hitch is around 300 lbs between a carrier and 5 bicycles. As far as structural rigidity, the trailer would be fine but you would struggle to get enough ballast at the front of the trailer for adequate tongue weight. The trailer would be picking up on the rear of the tow vehicle at that point and it would not be a fun towing experience.

Now some modifications could be made to the trailer to make that setup work by either moving the axle further to the rear of the trailer or fabricating a mount for the dirtbike closer to the tongue of the trailer (Just in front of the spare tire could be an option.) However, both of those would require a little bit of work. I can't say that I would recommend that much weight on the rear of this trailer without moving the axle further back. It would not be a ton of work if someone was interested in that and I would entertain pricing that out if someone was serious about it.

Hope this helps and thanks for checking it out.
