2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Power Wagon SLT Quad Cab, 5.7 Liter Hemi, 5spd Auto Trans., Black exterior, gray interior, 108,500mi. Located in Durango, Colorado
Asking $18,000. Contact John at 973.650.9070 (mobile), or send PM.
This truck is stout. The Power Wagon starts with a 2” lift compared to the stock 2500 Ram, and this truck has a full Thuren front end rebuild with bigger springs, stronger control arms, and upgraded steering linkage to eliminate the well-documented 2nd Gen Ram steering issues. I’m not the original owner but have owned it for 6yrs.
There is no deferred maintenance – no leaks underneath. Runs and drives like a real truck, with solid axles. The paint is in excellent condition – shines all around. The gray leather interior is very close to perfect - seats show no wear or sagging (thanks to good seat covers - included). Great storage under rear seat and has the fold flat option. Center console folds up for seating of 6th passenger. Tires 4,000mi ago: 35” Toyo Open Country AT2. The under-side of truck is straight and shows minor surface pitting rust.
Power Wagon features:
The factory accessory package - loaded:

Imperfections:
- The lockers have OEM controls. The actuator switch can be tricky to engage. That said, I successfully used the lockers numerous times over the winter in deep snow. The Power Wagon forum has a number of easy fixes (straight wiring the lockers) for those more motivated to use the lockers than I.
- The top of the headlights (not forward facing) are dull instead of clear. The fronts are clear so this does not affect the headlight performance – therefore I’ve not replaced them.
- The rear left quarter panel has been replaced. I inadvertently jackknifed (spaced it) a trailer while backing up and dented it. I ran it through insurance for a full replacement instead of body-filling the dent. Perfect paint match – can't tell.
- There are some light pin-striping scratches from bushes
- A pre-existing 6” scrape on the right rear quarter panel has a less than perfect repair, though it’s not very noticeable. See pic.
- Small dent where top of bed meets topper. See pic
- The bed of the truck shows use. Scraped paint , a few small dents. With a bed liner job it would look great. Not something I was interested in doing.
- Right rear interior door panel has a 3” abrasion in the plastic
