SOLD 2006 Fleetwood Cobalt
Project camper (well, a project I never finished but I am now going a different direction)
The good: Everything works - raises and lowers, canvas is in great condition, all windows work, door works, tires good, all lights work, brakes work, clean. Wired for solar - has a controller, wiring done. Has add on exterior lighting for camp illumination. NO LEAKS!! No water damage.
This model has much higher clearance than most pop ups - great for a bit of rough road
The need to know: the interior seating, sink, and stove have been removed to lighten the trailer for easier towing and to create more storage. The seating was terribly uncomfortable and we never cooked inside.... it adds lots more storage in the camper so you don’t have to overstuff your tow rig. I even put my bikes inside it while traveling.
I was intending to build some more formal storage inside but we’ve decided we need a bigger camper.
Bad:
1. some cosmetic hail damage, and a small dent from when the previous owner bumped something while backing up. These issues have no impact on function.
2. Has some small holes that need to be patched in floor and wall - would be easy to do - I’m willing letting this thing for a good deal, so don’t complain about it needing a little elbow grease
This camper is ready to camp now, or spend some time and customize for a pretty sweet off-grid, off-road, lightweight camper.....
I’ll consider offers that aren’t stupid. It is ready to camp, not some nasty moldy trashed camper.
For an offer close to full asking price I’ll throw in new deep cycle battery, super high efficient diesel furnace (never got around to installing), and an expensive telescoping table pedestal (marine, sailboat quality) that I was going to use to make a little counter in the rig
Thanks for looking
