I recently picked up this Ironman 4x4 RTT from a member here but need to sell to use the cash for a different setup.

The tent is GREAT but it is just simply not going to work for our family needs. We have 2 kiddos and there isn't enough space for us to sleep, change, etc. and thus are going back to the plan of a larger ground tent. My loss is your gain. I just picked this up for $1000 but will sell for SOLD!! $900 picked up/met up within an hour of Raleigh.

This setup would be great on a trailer or truck for use by a couple of adults and one child or pets.

Here is the tent on their website and this one does include the annex and ladder extension. Would be $1500+ new

Some of the pics are from original seller but the one on the trailer is mine.

GLWS! Sorry its not quite big enough for the fam. I will second that it is a great tent and the annex is game changing... You don't want to put the kids on cots in the annex?

Here is a pic of it closed... If anyone wants more pics here are some of mine. Click Here

Cots in the annex might work but with them down we don't have any space left. At 3 & 5 they are basically tornadoes and we need a little more space. Moreover, the type of camping we are doing right now is pretty docile... campground type camping. Some of the campgrounds around here have designated tent areas that are elevated and I can't get the trailer on them either. Just need the flexibility of the tent for now. Might end up back here with a RTT at some point though as the trailer is going NOWHERE!

Bump. Just had a buyer fall through after his wife put the kibosh on it. Please make sure you have permission before looking!

I hearyou, having everything already packed and ready to go is priceless. There is definitely something to be said for filling the coolers and hitting the road. If you have access to raised platforms that is game changing for tent camping. The first time I used mine it paid for itself 100x. I was in Texas and there was a gully washer the last night of my first Texas Raptor Run. When I woke up half the group was sleeping in their passenger seat. I am a deeper sleeper than most, so I didn't even wake up.

Another bonus for people looking at this tent is that the overhang over the door allows to not only get out of the tent directly into the annex if you keep your clothes etc below, but more importantly it allows you to keep the main door window open in the rain. If it is warm and raining any ventilation is greatly appreciated.

If there is any way to get the tent higher on the trailer the "first floor" grows quite a bit. If you are still into climbing to bed down the road you could always look into one of the XL tents with two sleeping quarters and xl annex. Only problem is that they get spendy...

I have a Nemo 9-person Wagontop ground tent, almost new, if you're interested in a trade. You can stand up in it, which is a nice feature, but it's too big for our needs.
