DESCRIPTION
The Evasion XXL hard shell rooftop tent offers a new way to look at vehicle adventures but in the same footprint as the Grand Raid. With its larger overall internal space, the Evasion provides comfortable space for adults to sit upright in either end of the tent. With its full 360 degree panoramic windows, air circulates freely though the tent in warmer climates. For extreme conditions, ventilation can also be assisted by the solar powered ventilation system. Access to the tent is easily gained by using the telescoping ladder that comes standard with all James Baroud rooftop tents and can attach to either side of the tent.

TENT FABRIC
We guarantee you won’t find a higher-quality, better-performing fabric on any rooftop tent. All of our tents utilize a proprietary aluminized polyester with acrylic coating that is 100% waterproof, breathable, UV-resistant, no-perishable, and solar-reflective. All windows are covered with quality insect-proof netting.

TENT FABRIC
One of the most important features of a rooftop tent is the part you sleep on: the mattress. All James Baroud rooftop tents feature a thick, moisture-resistant 3″ high-density foam mattress. Mattresses have a heavy duty zippered cover for easy removal and cleaning.

INTERIOR STORAGE
All tents include a removable storage pocket for stowing keys, wallets, headlamps, clothing or anything else you need to quickly stash inside the tent. Hardshell tents include an additional large ceiling storage net.

ASSISTED OPENING
All James Baroud tents (except the Nomad 160) feature a patented gas strut-assisted opening mechanism, making set up incredibly fast and easy – less than 30 seconds, and nearly as quick to collapse back down.

I wish you had posted this Friday. I just got back (I mean at 2pm today) from driving to Prescott, AZ for a smaller, much more used, older JB. Between what I spent on the tent, travel expenses, and my time I could have spent a couple hundred more and had a better tent.

@Ovrlnd Rd Bummer! In my defense, it has been posted for sale with the trailer in the "Trailers & Campers Classifieds" for a few weeks! Wish we could've crossed paths earlier, enjoy your new tent and let me know if you need a trailer to go under it!
