SOLD I have for sale an Odyssey/EnerSys Ultimizer OMAX-50A-1B battery charger. SOLD
Listing at $160 shipped in CONUS. $140 if picked up in San Diego, CA. (This is a big unit with heavy-gauge cables, so it isn't lightweight shipping.)
This is the top-end 50amp model that will easily handle the big Odyssey PC2150/Diehard Platinum 31M batteries. If you're here, you probably know what this is and know that the big Odyssey deep-cycle batteries require a BIG charging current (0.4 * C = 40Amps for the 31M) to be properly maintained. This is the charger for the job.
This charger is basically BRAND NEW - I originally had two of these units and this one was replaced under warranty after the original unit started having issues at higher current. (Schumacher put it down to one of the board-level components). I received this replacement unit in original packaging with manual, etc. and have only removed it from the packaging to confirm that the new unit functions. I have since moved on to using a permanently mounted charger in my Van, so I no longer need the portable unit.
It is also worth noting that these have been discontinued and that Odyssey's new line of chargers DOES NOT INCLUDE A REPLACEMENT. Their own selection chart doesn't list the PC2150 as compatible with the new chargers. In other words, Odyssey no longer sells a charger big enough to support the big batteries. If you've got a PC2150/Diehard Platinum, protect your investment and use the correct charger. As noted above, the OEM, Schumacher, is still supporting the Ultimizer chargers from a warranty/repair standpoint.
