Source for H2 rear springs

I just picked up a cherry 2005 Yukon XL. 180k, G80, 3.42. Very excited to get this build going.

I picked up some new (take off) Colorado WT steel wheels (17”) that I’ll put 285/70/17 KO2/3’s on. I just love these steel wheels.

Up front, I’ll probably go with RC 2” keys. 5100 shocks all around.

I wanted to try out H2 springs in the rear. But I can’t seem to find any OEM springs. I’m not sure I trust aftermarket springs. Anyone know where I can get some?

And do I need longer endlinks?

Good question and I dont know the answer. But if I am not wrong, the H2 was built on the k2500 platform, so if you did need longer links, I'm wondering if he links for the H2 would work?

I hated the GMT800 platform when it first came out, mainly because it was the first platform not to have a 2 door big blazer/ tahoe option.

Once I got over my own hangups about that, I could see the 800's were overall great vehicles. Do you have a thread about it

Hey @ThundahBeagle I ended up buying some H2 springs on Amazon. They’re not OEM since they (GMC) stopped making them years ago. But they seem to work fine and gave a 2” lift. I also went with RC keys and 5100’s all around. And new 33” KO3’s. It rides so nice now.
Some time in the future, I’ll swap in some 4.10’s. Maybe next year.
I don’t have a thread since it’s a very mild build. I have a Jeep for hardcore stuff. This is for backcountry exploration with the family. I think with this current set up, it’ll be perfect.
My fav body style is the square body Burb’s. But they’re too old now and I don’t have the time to keep up on them. I think the GMT800 is a sweet spot (for me) in terms of reliability, parts availability, and “old tech” (ie no AFM).
