Spare tire carriers

Looking into a prerunner style spare tire carrier for my truck bed. If you have one please post some pictures.
I also have a truck topper with a roof rack that I take on and off depending on what I'm doing. I would like to mount the same tire on it when going on long trips. Please post pictures of your roof rack tire carrier also please.

Thanks for you time!

Not sure what exactly what you are looking for, but this might work:

Not ideal for what we do since you loose bed space. Probably a big reason this thread is not being flooded with pictures. We all value being able to carry the gear we need.

As far as the roof rack... Also not an idea location. What brand of rack do you have? Home made? lots of products available to mount it and they all generally look the same. What brands/styles are you trying to decide between? Not trying to be difficult, but it's hard to read your mind.

Lots of folks just fab up small carriers that slide into the reciever hitch. As mentioned above, cargo space is at a premium in most trucks, and most folks try to keep as much weight off of the roof as possible to keep the truck more stable.

Curious what people are doing for hitch-mounts... swing down? swing to the side? I need something for a second spare, keeping the stock bumper, hitch and first spare, but still with easy access to the tailgate. Hitchgate works but is $500. I'd like to see some DIY examples

My swing out bolted to the sides of the factory tow bracket.

I have one of these, but don't use it because it prevents me from getting into the rear of my 4runner (no hinge) - I'll sell it to you if you're anywhere near SW Colorado . . .

(note the pin located at the cross bars, this enables you to lock the spare in the down or up position without any drilling into the bed.)

These bars will be sold individually, or with the added tire mounting system.
