sPOD and GenRight auxiliary fuel tank?

I have a GenRight auxiliary fuel tank that uses a second OEM pump, controlled by, I'm told, a "double-throw, double-pole" switch. I'm thinking about getting an sPOD Source and wonder if I can use it to replace the switch. Has anyone done this? If not, could it work? It seems to me the switch would be working as an on-on switch, rather than on-off, right? Thoughts?
