Spotted: Tata Xenon in Calgary!

I wish I could have snapped an actual pic, but I saw a brand new Tata Xenon today in Calgary. (for the locals, it was at Southland and MacLeod)

It was a white, RIGHT hand drive, standard cab model with a built in cargo barrier/headache rack on the bed. I had to do a triple take, but I am 100% sure it was a Tata. From the rear it had the big TATA on the tailgate.

Size wise it's smaller then a new Tacoma and slightly narrower. Huge leaf springs in the back of this one assumes it has a strong capacity.

It looked similar (same bed, bumper, rack, etc) except a single cab and white.

Anyone else seen one on the road?

Nice find! I haven't read anything about Tata planning North America distribution for light trucks. Maybe Tata is working on a contract for off-road use by resource extraction companies in Alberta and points north. Or maybe it's a personal vehicle of someone working in the Indian consul's office!
