Springbar Outfitter 3 canvas tent in CA

I have a used Springbar Outfitter 3 tent from April 2009 for sale.
----------------

Why are you selling it?
I'm an idiot. I also have a tendency to forget the separate bags for poles or stakes on trips thus resulting in a tent which cannot be pitched. I'm moving into a lighter weight, single bag tent which has a screen/shade room attached as well. I bought it in 2009, but then I spent a while in a VW Westy and Ford manvan during which time the tent saw zero use.
What's wrong with it?
Two things: 1. There is a tear in the left screen door from a squirrel deciding to enter the tent for food which was left in there at Big Bear. D'oh! 2. There are 1 or two scuffs on the floor, but not worn through. Otherwise this tent is in EXCELLENT condition.
Where are you?
Santa Barbara, CA - but I frequent Santa Monica and Marina Del Rey (Los Angeles).
What's your price?
$200 - As you can see, this tent is $380 new - now add in accessories
You're including accessories? Sounds dubious...
It's not! I'm including the canvas ground tarp and all the stakes I have - the regular stakes of which I have 4 or 5 and lots of SAND stakes - the BIG ones
Well, I still don't trust you. Where has this tent been?
Its first trip was to Coyote Flat, CA. From there it's been to Big Bear, Santa Barbara, Baja, - but guess what, (since this works with cars) it's a CALIFORNIA TENT. No mold!
Baja - really?
Yup - check it. You should take your new Springbar Outfitter 3 tent to this spot (I'll even give you directions!):

Do you have more photos of this AMAZING AMERICAN MADE TENT?? I WANT TO BUY IT RIGHT NOW!
Yes, sir or madam, I do:

Do you have photos of the screen and floor marks?
Do I look like an idiot? Of course I don't have photos. But I'll get that bad boy out from the closet quickly to take some photos, in color, for YOU! :wings:

Thanks for looking!

Jeeps can Expo too!
I can't say anything about the tent as I'm sure it's exactly as described, Garrett does tend to get good gear.

What I can vouch for though is that Garrett is, in fact, an idiot, just as he describes.

Bump and as a Springbar owner, I'll vouch for the fact that forgetting either stakes or poles doesn't make for a sturdy tent no matter how well made a Springbar is!

Bump for Garrett!

REMEMBER! This is THE tent that Garrett would have spent the night in on Mojave Road had he not decided to bust his hip instead. So there's that, too!

It is also the Tent that looked awesome spread out on the custom fit ground cloth at the world famous Desert Rendezvous just a couple weeks ago. Too bad there were no poles with it

Yeah, sorry about all the views. I just love the hell out of the original post. It makes my wife and I laugh our butts off each evening reading it. Had we not just bought a Safari Bow, I would be all over this. GLWS.

Do you still have this tent?
Price drop! $275 - I'm going to Big Bear this weekend so if you live in Ventura, Oxnard, Simi Valley, San Gabriel, Burbank, or anywhere along the 218/10 freeways going to San Bernardino, I'll even deliver!
NO WAY! That's an amazing deal...sounds too good to be true.
It's not! Here's my route
OK, so now I believe it...what if I offer you less?
If you show me 275 rolls of pennies, 27,500 pennies in a bag then we can make a deal. I'll also accept a potentially lower offer ONLY if you 'make it rain' with 275 or so $1 bills.
