299k miles... How are sprinters for longevity?

I would very carefully and thoroughly inspect the emissions system as this the HUGE problem with the 2008 up Sprinters. With this many miles have no doubt there have been repairs to the emissions system. I would run from this Sprinter if there is a check engine light or any emissions related codes in the computer.

12,500 for that many miles seems high. we have one that just came into our shop with 273,000 miles . some other tech resealed egr cooler and put water pump on it. both were easy jobs. don't know how much other work it had done to it in the past. compared to my class 2 the sprinter seemed narrower. with all the ambo stuff in it. but thing has got mega head room! and like that one it just has a pass through window so it would take a lot of bulldozing to open that up.
