Ok fellow EP truck camper friends...1993 Starcraft pop up truck camper...camper plug is rectangular...if all terminals were used...it would be an 8 pin...only 4 are used ground and 3 others
Any ideas... I assume ground and 1 are the campers marker lights....the other two? frig?...interior lamps?....

At least on mine I think the only wires that were used were 3 and those were ground, power 12v, and running/clearance lights. If you have a model with built in blinkers, backup lights, or other accessories, you may have different options on the back side of that plug. How do you know that only 4 are used? I think when I took the plug off the camper side I saw that there were only 3 actually hooked up.

The receptacle on the truck camper is "shaped" like an 8 flat...but only has 4 actual "terminals"...the enclosed "ground" and then 3 males ( the rest is just blank spaces) I have only clearance lights...so I assume...ground, clearance and 12v for interior lights...would #4 be furnace fan/ fridge?

I remember that now. Mine didn't have anything hooked up to the 4th pin. That connector comes out pretty easily. On my starcraft it just snaps into the ~4" square plate on the front wall. If you pry out just a little bit, you should be able to work a flat head screwdriver on the sides of the connector and push in the clips... I'll see if I have a picture to help out.

same deal...just gotta figure out what lead feeds what....Scoutman...thanks for the replies

I guess you can look in your water tank cubby where the rats nest of wires are and fish the second voltmeter line in there and have a spouse/kid hold the other end to see what goes to what. About the only thing I can think of that the 4th line would go to would be directly to the fridge. I've changed all my stuff to plug into the 7 pin socket where I plug in my gooseneck trailer. Otherwise I'd go check myself...
