Started a trailer build

Saturday I started doing a little welding on the trailer. The plan is to build something similar to the Morris mule. I’m always open to ideas and suggestions

This will be built using 2”x 2” .12 tubing and 1.5”x 1.5” .12 tubing.

The goal will be:

Off-road capable
RTT
Haul two kayaks

Deploy tent with kayaks on the trailer
Removable and adjustable length tongue
Lockable storage for camping hunting and fishing gear

Here is last Saturday’s progress
Frame welded
Tongue welded
Spring hangers welded

A little update on the trailer build.
It now has a frame ,floor, sides and some fenders. A large fold down table

Kind of forgot about the thread. This trailer should have been done in January but a round of covid and pneumonia slowed me down. Got her finished up over the weekend. RTT goes on this weekend. The whole thing will get raptor lined in spring. Use between now spring will allow me to determine what needs added or changed. It tows great at 60mph. Here are a couple of pics
