I have a flat bed truck and I need a "trunk". Its a crewcab ram and we plan on driving it from Ohio to the outer banks this year but it doesn't have any storage. My last truck had a regular bed and I had a bed topper. I have been looking for solutions but I have not really found anything to suite my needs. What kind of water tight bed storage is available? I have been looking at car top carriers and possibly mounting two of them to the bed or a couple of large storage containers to even a jobsite box bolted to the bed.

Maybe pull an enclosed 4x6 trailer?

Before I converted mine, I had the same issue. I mounted a roof box to the top of the cab and bought a jobbox from CL. I had just picked it up, but I turned it do it was width wise across the front of the flatbed and bolted it in place. Worked great! Once I had no need for it, that jobbox sold in about 10 minutes. Worth it.
