Smev

I converted my FWC to a SMEV stove and sink. Separates not the combo.
Very high in quality and the stove is low in co2 emissions.
The look great closed too.

Jeff,
Would you take some pic of the sink and stove you have in the Eagle, please. :) I've been eying those for a long time, are they easy to put in? Having a flat counter top space when not using the stove and sink would be great.

:Wow1: You are not kidding when you said it's "highly" modified. That's really nice. I wish I'm that good at doing modification. :clapsmile

.

Here are some pictures of that sink & stove (individuals) we installed in a new FWC prototype.

They look sweet.

I really like Jeff's custom installation as well !!

I think you would be better off ordering those parts from e-bay.

We don't keep those sinks & stoves in stock and prices on e-bay would be better too.

I'm guessing his refrigerator is a "2 Way" compressor model.

We have installed a few for customers that wanted them.

(see attached pictures)

A slight upcharge, needs some more 12v power to run (has no propane mode), usually dual batteries & a solar panel will do the trick nicely, and very efficient for cooling.

Very nice hard to decide on seperate or combined unit ....does FWC supply those units for a homebuilder....oh and what kind of fridge is that and is it 3 way.:drool:Den

As usual, what Stan has said is correct. But let me add some.
My refrigerator is a Norcold 12v only, because the camper has an inverter/charger to go from 120V back to 12V DC. Here is the good and bad. A compressor frige works ALOT better at cooling than a 3-way. Night and day difference. BUT, it has a compressor that you can hear and feel the vibration. I did alot of work to isolate the compressor on the back of the unit and added sound insulation to the interior of the cabinet. As is, I still turn the frige way down about an hour before bedtime and then turn it off for the night. This sound maybe inherent to the Norcold though because I can't hear or feel my ARB frige.
As for electrical, I have a 130 watt solar panel, Blue Sky controller and dual deep cycles. This is way over kill. I carry two refrigerators, run four lights, a roof fan, an evap cooler and watch a DVD in my laptop before i crash for the night. Lowest voltage noted at dawn is 11.33 volts.
And yes, the guy on Ebay is about the only place to get SMEV right now.
Hope this helps.

That comes with the sink. Pretty cool too!

Unfortunatly the e-bay auction does not include the faucet. I got the round sink anyway as the faucet is not a deal killer, but would sure be cool to have.

edit: I had e-mailed the e-bay seller and for a slight upcharge they have two of the round sinks with faucets, well now only one;-)
