I thought the 09's 86'ed the LSD in the Sport. I can't see it listed in their options:

TRD Sport Package-Sport suspension with Bilstein® shocks, 17-in. alloy wheels with P265/65R17 tires, hood scoop, color-keyed grille surround/bumpers/power mirrors (standard on double cab models)/door handles/overfenders, smoked headlamp trim, sliding rear window with privacy glass, 115V/400W deck power point, fog lamps, remote keyless entry, cruise control, variable-speed wipers, overhead console with compass and temperature gauge, Sport seats with driver lumbar support and Sport fabric trim (in place of standard bucket seats), metallic tone instrument panel trim, leather steering wheel with audio controls, leather shifter (A/T models only), sunvisors with mirrors and extenders, backup camera [5] and auto dimming inside mirror with monitor, TRD Sport graphics

Actually, it appears that the Sport does not the have the A-TRAC system. The traction control most likely is disabled when you put the Sport in 4wd. The TuRD package looks all the more appealing...

The TRD Sport package does not show a locker .....true I stand corrected.

However, the AUTO LSD is Standard on all 4x4 Double Cab and Acccess Cab Trucks.

Look under the specs column it will show AUTO LSD, the TRD Sport Package is listed under the Options package.

AUTO LSD is a brake actuated simulated LSD. I works by pulsing the rear brakes left to right based on the wheel speed sensor inputs to the ABS ECU.
Otherwise it is an open differential.

From My 2009 Owner's Manual.
Auto-LSD (2 wheel rear traction control) = 2WD only. Manually activated by pushing VSC OFF button on dash
A-TRAC (4 wheel traction control )= 4L only or 4L with rear diff locked and under 3mph. Manually activated by A-TRAC switch on dash. Part of the TRD OFF-ROAD Package.
TRAC (4 wheel traction control ) 4H......4L??? The owner's manual does not say.

The owner's manual has contradictory statements. Time for a rewrite Toyota!
