This is a Sunday Campers Tallsnail-51 hard shell rooftop tent. The tent is in decent condition but definitely shows wear. All the zippers work perfectly. There are no holes in the fabric or screens. I've spent a lot of nights inside and it's been great, even in wind, rain or snow. Does not include a mattress, ladder or mounting hardware.
The tent has plenty of room inside so you can leave your sleeping bag, pillow, ladder and even some clothes inside and still close it easily. I also had a 3" piece of memory foam and an Exped Megamat-10 inside. Lots of newer tents are so slim you can't keep anything inside which defeats one of the great features of a rooftop tent.
It usually takes me five minutes or less to setup the tent and and less than ten minutes to pack it away.
I added some small upgrades to the tent once I started using it. On one end I put a bar across both lift brackets so you can hang a heater or fan. I also added metal rings and small carabiners to the latches which make closing the tent much easier. The tent functions great but is not perfect. The fabric color has faded. The front and rear loop straps broke and are now two separate straps at each end. The seam tape inside is starting to come off but the tent is still waterproof. One latch bar broke recently and I replaced it with plastic coated steel cable that works just as good. The tent fabric has changed shape over the years (stretched or shrunk or both) so the tent twists some when fully open. This doesn't affect anything but it's visually noticeable. The fiberglass is in good shape and is solid.
The tent is 81" long, 50" wide and weighs 144 pounds.
This tent has been awesome. The only reason I'm selling it is because I just can't climb around on the outside of my Jeep to set it up and take it down anymore due to health issues.
