Sandblast 2008 came to the woods of upstate South Carolina this weekend. Both cars and motos ran multiple stages in the sand. 7 of the top 10 bike finishers were on 650 */- displacement, the other three were KTM 950 and HP2. More photos at beemertwins.smugmug.com in the sandblast gallery.
Kermit the winner was on a Aprilia 5.5, he literally flew around the course. Check out the Dakar KTM's that could not run the real DAKAR and showed up here. Yeah, I need a Rallye 660.
