T Slot bracketry cross compatibility

Can anyone confirm if T slot brackets are compatible across makes? For example, can a frontrunner t slot bracket fit in another manufacturers rack with T slots? (AEV, in my case).

While I'd suspect many do in fact interchange, some will not... As I recall the front runner stuff is 12mm and I've seen some that are just 10mm, but then I'm pretty sure the Eezi-Awn is 14mm head? Guessing AEV is going to be SAE. 12mm might work but I'd look for the right stuff.

T Slots are usually meet a specific DIN 650 spec.
