Tacoma Sliders from Stubbs Welding

Just installed my new sliders from Stubbs Welding. Richard Stubbs makes some incredibly stout sliders and I can’t say enough good things about his customer service, the high quality of his workmanship, and his economical pricing.

Here are a few pictures of the installed product. Glamour shots in the driveway. Hopefully next weekend I’ll have a chance to get some real life testing at Overland Expo.

Jacked up with front and rear tire off the ground. No deflection in the slider at all. Extremely tough and good looking to boot.

Discovered another benefit of these sliders today at Lowes. Way over crowded parking lot with spring time do-it-yourselfers. A guy in an old caprice pulled in and parked next to me. I didn’t even flinch when he opened his door. I knew the slider would catch it before in got close to my sheet metal.

As for the new Tundra…

I absolutely love doing that too. It doesnt bother me at all now when the ************** in the riced out civic parks on the line to deter people from parking beside him.
