Tactical Beads for Lanyards

I’m putting together a more rugged EDC setup and want to add some solid tactical beads for lanyards—something that’s functional, tough, and fits the aesthetic. I’ve seen everything from knurled titanium to matte-finished brass and even some with hidden features like fire starters or glass breakers. What kind of tactical beads are you guys running? Are there any makers or shops that specialize in gear built for hard use?
Looking for suggestions that aren’t just flashy but actually useful in the field.
Appreciate any input

Back in the day they were called "Ranger Beads".

When I taught advanced tactical tracking at Advance SWAT we'd make them out of all sorts of different materials but the most fun was the mini skulls.

The nice thing is they don't require batteries, clear skies or a clear shot to a satellite when in canyons, mountains or dense forest to keep on pace to target.....
