Tcase bind?.

I am helping a buddy with his 2006 wrangler unlimited. He installed a 4 inch lift and 33's with the transfer case drop. Now he cannot shift into 4x4 low. I seem to remember this being a common problem with any easy fix.....but I don't remember what it is?..

Anyone know?

I am pretty sure you just need to adjust the linkage. There is a rod with a ring on it, the ring has a bolt. Adjust accordingly.

Pull the t/c shifter boot and see if it is hitting the body. if you don't have enough adjustment on the shifter you may have to trim the area where it is hitting.

Yep, when you lower the t-case you put the linkage in a bind. There are lots of companies that make kits to fix this. The stock linkage mounts to the tcase and the body so when you lower the tcase it all binds. The kits include a little bracket that just eliminates the linkage mounting to the body...
