Finally got a chance to get downtown and turn in my application for a CCW permit! Clerk said anytime within the next 30-90 days :wings:

I have had my CCW for the last 15 years here in Iowa, and I am going in next weekend to take a class to get the Utah and Florida permit so I can carry legally in several more states. I don't carry EVERY day, but I do most as I sometimes need a firearm for work, and it is nice to be able to carry in the most "ready" fashion and do it legally!

Exactly 40 days later my permit came in! Picked it up yesterday.

Mine took 21 days in Hamilton County Ohio. My PA mail order one took about a week.

Gives me most of the SE of the US. - Actually its easier to say where it doesn't work nowadays - (Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, District of Columbia, Illinois, Wisconsin)

NC has reciprocity with 38 other states at this point

It takes about 60 days here in Colorado. Depending on the county.

Now I am working on my wife to take the class and get her permit.

I am going to look into getting the UT and FL permit in the next few months so I can carry in most free loving American states.
