100 bucks a tire if you find the right deal

They were getting pretty popular around Tallahassee Fl with some of the trucks running ridiculous lift kits. 10Psi will hold up a "built" 4 door, long bed F350.

Combat Truck Monkey
78k lbs gvwr - as it sits loaded is about 50k lbs-

He's 28k under GVWR. He can add 28k more pounds to it is what I'm saying. Which is crazy to think about.

The only problem with that is, he'll need permits to run over 80K gross. I drove the big relative to this a few years ago. The tractor-trailer was 96k before a load. It was capable of hauling a 154k tracked vehicle. But, anytime we ran off-post, we had to have DOT permits, even when empty!

Mk48

I own its Marine Corps cousin... a Mk48 LVS. Its the same basically, save the articulation in the middle for the Mk48.
Mine is the Mk48/15a1 recovery unit with a crane and 60k A Frame on the back. You would NOT want one of these as an expedition camper.
Its uncomfortable, its hot, its EXTREMELY maintenance intensive (beyond belief) and its DRINKS, and I mean DRINKS fuel.

3.5 MPG best on road, not to mention its horrible habit of the infamous "death bounce" at speed, unless of course you have about 10 tons of weight on the back.

We use mine to maintain my tank collection... incredible vehicle but best left in Gov. hands unless you have a specific use that matches its skills.
