German industrial designer Cornelius Comanns came up with this design for a one-person mini camper, based on the Piaggio APE 50 three wheel scooter.

Bloody useless. Take an already anemic platform, and weigh it down to make it almost immobile. Then compromise the basic structure such that it wouldn't pass any safety inspections anywhere. Pretend that you're making things multi-functional by having a door that is also a washing line. End result, useless project from a first year design student with no background in engineering.

I'd try it!! I love the "less is more" principle. Not everyone needs a Unicat to explore...

I like the concept of ultralight backpacking, where only the essentials are taken. This fits that philosophy, and as such, it has merit!
