TJM Bumper Install Help

So, I recently got my new TJM bumper for my 2001 Disco II. Everything is in good shape and all, but the bumper didn't come with any mounting instructions or anything. It's an airbag-compatible bumper, and I've never really installed one before. I'd assume it mounts in a similar fashion to an ARB bumper. Can anyone help?

When my brother and I installed his TJM bumper we didn't have any instructions as it was used. Luckily, it is pretty straightforward. Remove the stock bumper, bolt on the crush cans and then bolt on the bumper. Make sure you leave the bolts loose enough that you can position the bumper, then tighten it up. Then it is just finish work of hooking up the headlight washers, electrical, and the lower skid plate. That's whet we did, remember it going pretty darn quick and that the most time consuming part was aligning the bumper.

Thanks reds12t! Good to know.

Did you put on the bumperets? I want them on mine, but it seems like there's no real way to mount them.

The little rubber pieces, correct? We left those off. We stripped the bumper and had it powdercoated, and they just didn't look right when we tried putting them back on. I think it looks better with out them personally.

Yes, those. Oh well, I'll figure something out. I've seen pictures with them both ways. I like them with them more personally. Thanks again!

They were held on by a sheet metal screw behind the TJM logo, if I remember correctly. They could be held one with some trim tape too I'm sure.
