Hello, newbie green pea here-
I will be picking up a new-to-me 1993 Ford E-250 high top, with full length side skirts color matched. The right side has a section from the top of the rear wheel to the back bumper broken off, which I could repair but....
As I am more interested in ground clearance for some rough Mexico roads, I was thinking of removing them all together. I would actually prefer nerf bars if I could find some.
Then I saw somewhere some discussion about handling improvements and aerodynamics from skirts (?).
Is there any reason to leave them on?
