Anybody ever though of doing the ceiling of their expo vehicle like the ceiling of tool trucks??
Looks like it could be handy.

As a matter of fact yes.... I had a few pieces of pegboard I was playing with... Dont know if I am going to stick with that, OR, get a sheet of something with more......substance, and drill bigger holes, to allow the use of bungees or....

I have an aluminum cap, and was looking at using it on the ceiling, and some of the walls.... just didnt like being locked into using having pre-threaded bungee material... I want more flexibility..... I will include more, and a fresh start when I start my new and up to date build thread here in a couple weeks....

Just don't stick anything heavy up there and be careful how it's all secured - talk to one of your local tool guys about the fear of getting into an accident and what they think will happen to all that metal when the truck suddenly stops.

Well, in my case, its inside an aluminum cap, with no glass, other than the REAR doors.

Second, I was looking at it, to get the pillows, sleeping bags, tent, etc up high.... away from anything muddy or wet that would normally end up in the back of the truck. There was also a list of other things I was looking at sticking on the walls...

Its viable, but, I would rather use something other than that flimsy pulp wood stuff that normal peg board it made of.

My bad, I was thinking of this in an SUV.
(kinda ironic given the OP's screen name, don'cha think)

This my friend is funny!!! Excellent point you have too.
I definately don't think I'd want to put anything heavy (or sharp :Wow1:) up there. But I am sure it could be very handy for securing those pesky misc. items , that you still need easy access to.
