Finally getting new shocks put on my Traverse . Been far too long on original 2002 shocks (as far as i know) as I have had van 4 years only.
These are Bilstien rv series for my chassis class e250 2wd that were Recommended by Bilstein when I called.
I already have mood cc880s with adjustable camber bushings and new rear leaves with 1 inch block to level it.
I had noticed going over bumps the van would dip down to the front left consistently starting about two weeks ago. I'm guessing my front left shock finally crapped the bed. As luck would have it I'm having 2 new tires put on soon so I'll get it all installed at the same time .

Same ones I have on my Regency Converted E250. I also did all poly bushings up front at the same time. Made a huge difference. Did the rear shocks too, but did not do bushings in the rear yet as I was undecided on new leafs or just getting blocks to level.

Those are the "comfort" shocks, correct?

I'm interested in hearing your feedback. I'm researching the same setup for a bit of lift. I'm undecided on cc880 or the heavier c880s springs.

We have the same Van lol. Also your name is taken from a Whistler Bike park trail... Anyhow I have the cc880s with the comfort shocks which are not actually called that. They are reg wheelbase and extended wheelbase versions(hd).
cc880s are a little stiff for a 5.4 motor and give a 2.25 lift on a traverse.
I had my rear leafs redone with one leaf added and 1 inch block to level it so when loaded it's not sagging as I have a custom storage rear bumper , north shore MTB bike rack and 150lbs of aux batteries in the rear.
The shock install turned into a big$$ project as my ball joints were too loose to get it aligned properly and wheel bearings needed replacing etc.
So in the end I got all new ball joints & wheel bearings etc as well as shocks put on. I already adjustable camber bushings on since I had the cc880s on for about 3 years already.
Without shocks cost final bill was about 2grand (excluding the shocks I had bought already). but what a difference feels so much better , tracks better no wandering barely any steering wheel slack.
Depending on what you drive on I think the cc880 would be a smoother ride but with less spring lift. BUT I can run 265/75/16 studded tires with only a tiny rub at full lock when going over a bump which is fine as I use studded only during snowboard season.
These are the part numbers for non HD or "comfort version".
