Has anyone cut factory painted JK fenders , I have a black Sahara and was wondering if it could be done .

Yes it can be but I deeply regret cutting mine. I miss my painted full set of flares.

I've cut mine which are the regular fenders and a friend that had the painted ones, no difference in technique. We used door edge guard to clean up the cut.
On mine I removed the substructure and they're pretty flappy. On his we left it and they seem to be more stable.
