Trip in the French, Italian and Swiss Alps with my kids

Both my 10 year old son and my 6 year old daughter loved the trip!!! Route was as follows -

The route took us over old trade routes, up to a 10,000 ft glacier and also up to old forts in the area built by Mussolini and also passing the towering massif of Mont Blanc.

Itinerary-

21st July - Sailing to Dunkirk

22nd July - Jionville by road

23rd July - Dijon, Lyon, Grenoble

24th July - Rest day

25th July - Enter Italy and explore Sommerellier Glacier

26th July - Explore Sestriere and Musollini's secret forts

27th July - Hannibal route into France, Lac Cenis

28th July - Rest day

29th July - Explore Val d' Lsere

30th July - Rest day

31st July - Enter Swtizerland via mountain passes

1 Aug - Exploring Geneva

2nd Aug - Geneva, Djion, Joinville

3rd Aug - Head to St Omer, and explore V2 site at Eplequerques

4th Aug - Return UK

Now busy planning 2013...................!!!!!!! :)

I´m visiting this area every year since 2000 and still haven´t seen everything!
If you need some ideas for next year, let me know.
I´ll be leaving this year around Sept.02

Thanks, but 2013 plans are already forming. Heading to Botswana end of April on a 19 day fly and hire 4x4 self drive trip. Kids not coming on this one as outside school hols, but this is a recce for 2014 ;)
However also looking at what to do with them during school summer hols 2013, and researching Tunisia or Portugal or possibly back to Morocco for a trip in my own Land Rover.
