Hello,
Shortly after I bought my 2006 E350 PSD I installed Truck lite 5x7 LED headlights and they are AWESOME. However, the issue I have with them is that if I do not pull the headlight switch out to "ON", they flicker, to the point where it looks like a strobe, it is NOT subtle. Now, I have had this issue the entire time they have been installed (about 1.5 years) and always thought I just had a regulator/ rectifier/ alternator type issue or a problem with the Day time running lights (DRL) module, So I just always drive with the headlight switch pulled "ON". But I was just reading that truck-lite sells a module to fix "flickering" on the Jeep JK LED lights... which made me think it may be the same issue (https://www.amazon.com/Truck-Lite-Headlamp-Anti-Flicker-Module-Harness/dp/B00F50T8GM).
Anyone have flickering Truck lite LED's that behave like mine?
If not, does anyone know how to check the DRL module without a oscilloscope to see if the frequency from that module is different then the headlight "ON" circuit?
Thank you,
-Dan
