Turbo Tent owners - can the rainfly be left clipped in place?

To cut down on the rainfly install time, can it simply be left clipped in place and stowed with it in more of a ready-state? Or is it absolutely necessary to keep separated (meaning you can't easily set it back up with the rainfly already attached)?

Kicking tires and exploring ideas for a new tent as I'm reviewing options for faster base camp setup and tear downs.

I take mine off because of the possibility of getting pinched or getting a hole rubbed in the rain fly. I don't use the rain fly that often because the tent is almost waterproof without it, It's seen a few sprinkles but it would take a pretty heavy downpour to get through.

I think you would need to remove it, at least it would easier to take it down. Keep in mind that even putting on the rainfly on doesn't take long (at least for my three-man).
