What sort of tyre life have people been getting on these Michelin XZL 255/100R16's on hard (paved) surfaces, dirt roads, mixture or surfaces?
How frequently are people rotating them?
Are you getting a wheel alignment (as well as balance) done at each rotation?
Do you guys get the "on-board" wheel alignment (wheels not removed from vehicle) or the dynamic balancing off the vehicle. I've heard that "onboard" balancing also tries to "balance out" any imbalance in (say) the brake drums, which creates problems later on?
Michelin apparantly recommend at "extra 10%" pressure on front tyres (over that required for the load and speed) to help with stability. Comments?
