** You may recognize this vehicle from a posting from 2014, however much has been done over the last couple years, have a look! **

For Sale: 1973 Chevy Blazer w/ rebuilt Chevy 350. The rear roof section has been replaced with a 1985 custom cab-over camper that is bolted directly to the body from Four Wheel Pop-Up Campers. Combine the functionality of a Class-C camper, and a classic, solid four-wheel drive truck.
No turn buckles, or awkward rusty exterior tie-down attachments, just a clean, customized pop-up built specifically for the Chevy Blazer that also allows for full access to the vehicle cab. The Four Wheel camper frames are made of aluminum alloy rectangular tubing, so they do not/will not rot out like most campers. And they are fully re-buildable.

"Used Four Wheel Pop-up Campers are very hard to come by these days and are always in high demand. Because of the longevity that the aluminum frame offers, and how the campers have been built over the years (very durable), most of our customers keep their campers for many years."

NOTE THE DOWNSIDES:
- All appliances are in perfect working order except the fridge needs a Freon Recharge
- I've had to tighten all the header bolts and valve covers a couple of times over the 8,000 miles I've driven it, but not one major mechanical issue
- Small oil leak, since I've owned it I've probably put a quart of oil in it every 500-800 miles
- Windshield sprayer has a wire short
- Removed the sub-woofer for more space, all equipment still included
- This vehicle is old, it requires someone that is fairly mechanically inclined and has the intuition to work on an older V8.

The past year I have been fortunate to spend more time enjoying it than working on it, but staying ahead of maintenance on this vehicle is a must. The only reason I am selling this camper is because I head back to Alaska for work next month, and I need to maintain the pop-up camper that I already have in Valdez. I wish I had the time to put into this, and hopefully its next owner will be someone who will build this thing out properly!

That's a pretty neat setup! If I were a potential buyer though, I would want to check the VIN carefully. That Blazer does not look like a 73, not the body anyway. It has the later model 76 up steel roof. 73-5 had a full length removable top. Cool setup none the less!
