Recent upgrades to iOS (8.1) and MacOS (OSX 10.10, aka "Yosemite") add features that help Mac devices work together. Noted iPhone photographer Austin Mann has a series of blog posts that show how you might use the new features.

That screen sharing tip was pretty cool. I was completely unaware of that one!
So far, I am loving Yosemite, and really like being able to SMS from my laptop now that iOS 8.1 is out. Just wish iOS8 ran a bit better on my (admittedly aged) iPhone 4S
