5Runner
Adventurer
I decided to upgrade from my 4runner to a Land Cruiser. Thanks for all the help in making this decision
Here he is, in all of his stock beauty. The transformation to expedition rig will begin soon...and likely never end.
The only details worth sharing:
1999 100 series
Rear e-locker
Limited
147K miles
Yup, that's right...sitting at my house right now. See my little 3rd gen in the background.
First minor mods:
-Removing running boards
-Removing 3rd row seat
-Removing cheesy aftermarket wheel flares (why am I cursed with wheel flares that I hate, and everyone else wants!)
-Sell them all for mod money.
First major mod:
A very nice welding set up. Before the lift or the tires, I am buying a welder.
Moving over from my runner, unless a buyer will pay for them:
Dual yellow top battery setup
CB and antenna
Winch (have to get the bumper first, but the winch will be waiting)
This is my second rig to build, and I am going to take care to do it right from the start.
NOTE: BUILT 3RD GEN 4RUNNER FOR SALE THIS WINTER. PICS, DETAILS AND ASKING PRICE TO BE POSTED SOON. PM'S OKAY. ONLY BUYERS THAT ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR A BUILT RIG...I AM IN NO HURRY TO SELL. YOU WILL GET A GOOD DEAL, BUT WILL NOT GET MY EXPENSIVE MODS FOR FREE. I WILL BE HONEST ABOUT EVERYTHING, AS MOST OF MY PROBLEMS, REPAIRS AND MODIFICATIONS CAN BE FOUND POSTED ON A FORUM SOMEWHERE.
