Wow just finished going through all the post and comments and what a lot to take in from reading everyone’s pros and cons, ideas, what to get or not to get, what works for some and others but I think I’ve made my decision and will be joining the Ursa Minor family here soon. I’ve got a house build in the works that we’ll be getting the Keys too in the middle of October and I plan on bitting the bullet on a J30 for my 2016 Rubicon pictured below some time in November or December. After speaking with John last week I did find out which was a bummer that they don’t install anymore in the San Diego area which would have been 5 1/2 hrs drive for me here in Arizona compared to 19 1/2 hr drive now to Portland.🥺 After I told the wifey about the drive she was like oh damn but came up with an awesome idea of why not we make it a mini vacation and after the installation we go check out one of my all time favorite movie house where they filmed The Goonies and explore a bit out that way!!!! 🙌🏼😂🙌🏼😂
My build I’m looking at will be
1. Black textured hard top with Perimeter texture on the sides with white top.
2. Inserts on the rear L/R windows for Rotopax.
3. Convenience Power Package.
4. Driver side ABCD awning mounts for my OVS 270° awning.
5. passenger side CD mounts for a shower/changing room awning.
6. Front latch relocation.
