My wife and I have decided to take a last second trip leaving next weekend (and spending a week somewhere out west??). We are leaning towards flying into either Portland or Seattle (and heading to Olympic Peninsula) or San Fran and driving up coast toward Redwoods. Does anyone know of any off the radar camper van rentals? I looked into the few I could find in Portland and Seattle and there are no availability. I have rented from escape camper van in the past and they have rentals in San Fran, but have not heard back yet to see if there are any available the week we'll be out there (8/14-8/20). I figured this would be a good way to test out another campervan to see how we like it. I'd like to rent a ford e-series (which i think escape has).
Anyway, just figured I'd check with y'all and see if you had any suggestions. We're also open to anywhere out west (while avoiding the wildfires which appear bad in western WY and Idaho).
