Van Swivel Seats

Was at the local PAP and pulled these from a conversion van.

A complete seat with swivel base and floor seat mounting plate that makes the seat easily removable.

The seat pivot that bolts to the bottom of the seat itself has an inter-lock on the bottom of the pedestal to lock into the floor mounted plate. Plan is to install this on the passenger side of the 2001 Chevy ATF 4WD van to make the original factory bucket seat a "Swivel" seat.

My Dodge Sportsmobile van has the same color green interior as these green seats so that's why I purchased both complete green seats to have extra seats although my man goal was to get the seat pivot assemblies mounted to both seats included with the seat purchase.

Total expenditure INCLUDING purchasing the complete Green seats, Swivel/removable pedestal bases and all the mounting hardware was $25.00.

Any idea what brand or company had done the conversion...I would love to find a few of those. Thanks, R

I have no idea who made em.

Blow up the first picture and you can see a "Patent" number stamped into the base mounting plate that may help you identify the manufacturer. I am sure they are a generic van swivel seat base made by some company probably in Elkhart Indiana. Just a guess on my part.

Just keep an eye out for conversion vans at the local PAP and I am sure you will eventually find some.

These swivel seats were removed from a mid to late 90's Ford E150 "Starcraft" conversion van.

I pulled the same combo from a 90s junk yard dodge conversion van last summer. They are the same base plate system as is in my 2005 Chevy Express AWD Explorer conversion. For my middle row I was able to just swap these out with the non swivelling seat bases my Explorer conversion package came with. Thanks to the new base plates they now swivel 365, lock forward, and they can still be removed in less than a minute if i need extra floor space.
