Vancouver Island RTT Get together!

Hey Folks,

What: A get together for people interested comparing Roof Top Tents. Informal.... :coffeedrink:

Where: Island View Beach Campground https://www.crd.bc.ca/parks-recreat.../find-park-trail/island-view-beach-campground

When: Saturday September 6th. All day.

We are probably heading there Friday night already for a full weekend of camping.

Disclaimer: I'm not a retailer... I'm not inviting any retailers...I have no interest in representing any specific brand or make. This is not going to be a drink and party till we fall over event... This event is mend to hang out with like minded people and to see (hopefully) many different makes and styles of RTT.

I might be able to pop down for a few hours. Might be able to do one night of camping too if I can sort out the logistics? Would be kool to chat with a group of kindred spirits. lol Over beers.

We'll be somewhere in the Oregon wilderness on the 6th. Too bad... I do want to meet up with some others from the forum. We are planning to stop in at CVT in Bend while we're travelling around Oregon.

Just got back from a weekend of backroad camping. Not a lot of rrt out there but tons of people that stopped and asked questions I'm expecting the same next weekend.

hoping for good weather. Probably cant camp, but will drag out the trailer and come and say hi at the very least.

Hey, sorry for the no show. I ended up working on the trailer all day Saturday and then we ended up going out in the evening. This morning my wife got very ill suddenly, and we ended up in the hospital for 4 hours. Not fun. She is ok, just a scare, but wow...not fun.

Hope the weekend was fun and some people showed up!
