I'm looking for someone willing to do a vehicle swap with me... title swap if you will (no sale / no taxes). This is how I obtained my jeep a couple of years ago and it was a very smooth transaction so I would like to try this again with my truck.
I have:
2003 Toyota Tacoma, Tan, 4 Door, 4WD, 125,847 miles on it, Tow package (upgraded transition), spray-in bed liner, and custom surf racks. I have been the only owner of this vehicle sense it came off the delivery truck and has been serviced by the dealership regularly with synthetic oil sense new. This truck has never been in an accident and stock, unmolested! I am a pilot and I baby this thing... I treat her right and she returns favor. This is my same philosophy with airplanes. She hasn't been off road much either and I never take my vehicles into the mud just for fun. When she does go off-road, it is with great care.
I have found examples of my truck listed in AutoTrader.com ranging from $14,000 to $15,000
http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...erTypes=b&numRecords=25&searchRadius=500&mmt=[TOYOTA[TACOMA[]][]]&captureSearch=true&Log=0
What I want:
Toyota Land Cruiser of approximately equal value.
Our Tacoma was perfect for everything until the family grew even more. We love camping and I have always maintained that I would never get rid of this truck but it is getting difficult to road trip with the family in this vehicle. We have a 2010 Toyota Rav that we absolutely love as well and have the same problem. We will certainly keep the Rav for around town and day trips because of the fuel mileage but we really need a bigger vehicle so the truck must go. I figured I'd try this route before sacrificing it at the dealership as a trade-in. I know there is someone on the ExPo that will appreciate my vehicle and knows a used car dealer doesn't deserve it.
Please PM me your contact information if anyone is interested in this swap or if you know someone that might be interested.
