I have a 2kw Vevor diesel heater for sale. It only been used for one season. I built it out as a suitcase style build many of you are familiar with in an Apache case and modified numerous items for it including exhaust, wiring…etc. I used plenty of cord, as well as ducting to allow it to be placed a little bit away from the rig if you’re more sensitive to noise. It also has a remote control so you can turn it on without leaving your bed in the morning. I’ve only ran kerosene through it as I think it burns cleaner and I didn’t have to treat it for the sub zero temps.
I opted for the 2kw size to allow the motor to still run at higher rpm’s to avoid possible incomplete burning of fuel. It’s worked for us and made winter camping and even shoulder months more enjoyable for the family! We are moving to a different rig that already has a heater, so we don’t need this anymore.
