2 of my 4 cans have pretty ugly gaskets...anyone know a US supplier that could supply the viton gaskets for gasoline cans? Or maybe a source for the right thickness material that can be cut to fit??

Cheers!

I was ablt to purchase ~50 of them from a gentleman in Florida on AR15.com, his price was ~$4 per gasket and he could get as many as needed (was having them cut). I have the dimensions if anyone is interested in contacting thier local gasket cutter. A freind used my dimensions and had a couple made here in SLC (Pioneer Gasket fwiw) but ended up paying a bit more than the ones I sourced and had the added run around. I would check up with the guy on AR15.com and see if he can still source them. I've had enough calls/emails about mine (they are all spoken for btw) that one of you could probably buy a few dozen and satisfy the needs of all those looking. Good luck!

Found a guy on the IH8MUD list that has a maker of these... $4.50 each to your door for Viton, $1.50 each for Neoprene. I ordered Viton as I think Neoprene is only for diesel..

UPDATE: Got the gaskets and they are perfect! Shoot Tom an e-mail at: asitom@atlanticbbn.net for more info.......

Cheers!
