its a fun ride to work on, heavy though at 6000lbs. has vac. lockers , but a fuel eating flathead six. This is one of the vintage rigs i look after as a maintainer / mechanic for a private military vehicle collection here in West Quebec.

Volvo built a whole series of Military trucks on this frame and the front tins from the firewall forward, so there are a bunch of different configations out there, bt all very limited production numbers, as it was for domestic military use only. This is a radio / comms platform, and uses the commercial Volvo Taxi body as its got space for a rear bench seat, and radio racks behind the driver, plus its got a very neat roof hatch
