W. Canadian Expedition Adventurers- Jan 24/08

I would like to find out who in W. Canada (BC, YT, NWT, AB, SK, MN) and in particular the Calgary/S. Alberta area is interested in expedition trips from say a weekend to extended trips (weeks, months) not only in W. Canada but also south of the borders (Moab, desert trips, Baja, Mexico, etc.)?

I am thinking to start or form a group of informal travellers/adventurers to stay in touch with each other:
- to possibly travel together on part or entire trips together
- share travel information within the group and via a portal/forum like Expedition Portal
- share information regarding equipment/gear, customizing rigs, etc.
- to assist each other in whatever ways are necessary - expedition oriented only (no home renovations) like gear, mods, etc.
- share travel info in W. Canada/other with other travellers in exchange for same south of the borders
- informal routine meetings/get togethers if possible - international eating/drinking establishments
- chat with via 2M or CB while in town or area/region

Great to have you aboard, have PM'd you so waiting to hear back. Off with Targa88 to Moab in April and then continue south solo.
