I just received my copy of the Washington Backcountry Discovery Route DVD and Butler map. Both are outstanding! I am planning on attending the Expo Rally in Ellensburg, WA, in July. then will ride the WABDR right after. There is a bunch of people, mostly very experienced riders from the wet coast, planning on doing the WABDR at the same time.

This will be my second long camping trip on two wheels. The first will be in June down around Enterprise, OR, and the Hell's Canyon area. I am planning on doing a lot of gravel and forest roads around the Spokane are to get ready.

I hope I can teach this old dog some new tricks! :bike_rider:

I know you and I are doing WABDR a week apart, but any interest in doing OBCDR this year? Take a looky here, a couple of us are planning on making it happen year...

Doubtful at this point.

My summer calendar is filling up fast. I'll be doing the Hell's Canyon trip in June, Expo Rallye/WABDR in July/August, and Wetfest in September. Have to fly back to MN & WI around 7/16 for a week, a canoe trip right after that, and finishing up my new garden in between.

SWMBO will fill any free time I have left open with Honey-do's. Come on Summer!!:sombrero:
