Hi all - New to the forum here but have been on similar one's past few months. I have set out to purchase a late 80's Mercedes W460 Cabrio / early 90's W463 Cabrio. I have come across a few on Ebay and similar sites here and there but its been tough to find a rust free vehicle in the right condition. The real hard part is finding a good seller. The internet seems to be swamped with "Will bring to America" for a vehicle that I have no way of seeing in person first. So I was hoping an enthusiast might be selling theirs or knows someone that is selling? My real preference is the W463 but I keep coming across those in the 6 figures from the early to late 2000's. Also against most peoples advice I do need an automatic vs a manual. This car will serve as a weekend/beach car and the wife doesn't know how to drive stick. I guess I can always convert if the engine is powerful enough. Thanks in advance for taking the time and if anyone can point me in the right direction.
