Hey Guys, anyone know offhand what the difference is in the VR8000 verses theM8000? I don't see any motor horse power specs for the VR on the Warn site. Thanks, Ron

So contactor is better than solenoid? Motor have more Hp or just better? Ron

Contactors generally have better duty cycles, weather resistance, and there's only one vs. four solenoids. Most of our winches (excluding the VR Series) now come with contactors. Solenoids are a tried-and-true technology, though. We've used them (in one shape or another) since the '50s.
